Nalungkot si Priscilla Meirelles at itinanggi ang pagkakaroon ng “mutual agreement” na mag-break sila ni John Estrada, matapos niyang mabasa ang pahayag ng asawa sa social media.
Sa kanyang Instagram Story noong Martes, Hulyo 16, sinabi ni Meirelles na walang naganap na “mutual” na paghihiwalay sa kanila ni Estrada, kasunod ng sinabi ng aktor na nagkasundo silang mag-break “for quite some time.”
“I am deeply shocked and disheartened by Mr. Estrada’s recent public statement. To clarify, there was never any mutual agreement regarding our separation,” ani Meirelles.
Ang dating beauty queen, na kasalukuyang nasa Brazil, ay naglinaw na kasal pa rin sila ni Estrada kahit umalis siya ng Pilipinas.
“We were married when I left the Philippines, and we remain married as of this time,” sabi niya. “While there is indeed more to this story, it is not the appropriate time to delve into those details. Regardless of what those may be, however, it won’t change the course of faith.”
Nagpasalamat din siya sa patuloy na suporta at pagmamahal ng mga tao sa gitna ng mahirap na panahon. “I appreciate your constant support, kindness, and love during this difficult time. I trust that in due course, all will be resolved appropriately. Thank you for your understanding,” dagdag niya.
Ang pahayag ni Miss Globe 2003 at Miss Earth 2004 titleholder ay kasunod ng sinabi ni Estrada sa Instagram na nagkasundo sila ni Meirelles na mag-break. Pinabulaanan din ng aktor ang relasyon niya kay Lily Hallman, sa gitna ng mga akusasyong hindi siya tapat kay Meirelles.
